Furious 5 - Enduro - Sponsored by Derailed Sports

All thrills none of the frills. This week's furious five event will be a great little enduro in Mountain Shadows. The Furious 5 is a fun, family friendly event! Everyone is welcome, including kids.

We'll start from reflection lake and take a little ride (or shuttle) up to Bush Party, from there our first stage will be Berminator, short but sweet & full of berms. We'll then meander across Selkirk Slacker and up Reflection lake until we get to where it meets Quentin's. The power stage will start here trending down towards the Kobe's intersection and then heading up the techy and super-fun "technical up". After a breather, we'll carry on up cutting through to Huff and Puff. The third stage will flow down here - watch out for the V-rock. After another teeny tiny pedal the last stage will head down Chute the Duck - finishing about 20metres before Selkirk Slacker. Stop for a sec & gather yourself, let the arm pump fade and then pedal out which ever way you'd like - the new high school trail is a super fun option.

There's about  250m of climbing (or about 70m less if you shuttle up to Bush party) across about 7km of riding.

Stage 1: Berminator 

Stage 2: Reflection lake across the ridge until it meets Kobe's, and then clockwise on Kobe's  up "technical up"

Stage 3: Huff and Puff - down

Stage 4: Chute the Duck to Selkirk Slacker.

Prizes: Winners will be announced at the event, but prizing is by random draw! If you compete or volunteer, your name will get thrown in a hat for all kinds of great prizes. We have pedals, tires, lube, GCC Swag and so much more, so come on out!!

This event is limited to 50 riders so please sign up in advance!  Volunteers are the backbone of these events and can also register below.
