Phat Burner Fat Bike Race 2025

Join us for the Phat Burner Fat Bike Race!

The Phat Burner is back for the third year and will take advantage of our flowy, freshly groomed fat biking trails in the Golden area. 

This year, the race will take place in the upper CBT area and take advantage of some downhill from the top of Kicking Horse. The race will start at the entrance to Scallimag at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, and flow down towards the 'bug trails', forming a counter-clockwise loop on Odonata, CBT, and Hemiptera, before finishing at the Cedar Lake Corner on Kicking Horse Rd. We'll bump you back up to your vehicle from there, so there's no need to burst a lung climbing back up Scallimag. See the course here: 

Expect a little bit of everything, including some flowy downhill. Race for the podium, or challenge yourself with a group of like-minded weirdos.
