The Golden Cycling Club is hosting an adrenaline-charged 50 km gravity-fed, down country, trail race in Golden, BC, as part of the Equinox Bike Fest. The event offers a challenging course through the best singletrack that Golden has to offer, complete with full support and a community celebration at the finish with Equinox Bike Fest beer on tap at Whitetooth Brewery!

Tentative Location (TBC):

Start - Kicking Horse Mountain Resort

Finish - CBT Parking lot ... and a pedal or drive to Whitetooth Brewery!

 

 

Course:

Pre-Race Schedule

September 20, 2025

10am-5pm: Package Pickup at Moon Cycle, Golden, BC

 

Race Day Schedule

September 21, 2025

8:00 a.m: Late package pickup. Sign-in and registration.

8:45 a.m: Race briefing and safety announcements

9:00 a.m: Race begins

 

Post-Race

4:00 pm: Awards Ceremony @ Whitetooth Brewery

 

 

Race Information

$109 per rider.

Registration will be limited to 50 riders.

Distance: 50 km of challenging single track

Course Highlights:

  - Limited double track for overtaking; expect mostly technical single track

  - Two timed descents 

  - Backcountry terrain with potential to encounter wildlife and technical black diamond trails

  - Helmets are mandatory at all times during the race.

 

 

The fine print:

• No refunds, but transfers will be considered with a $30 fee before September 10th.

• You will be responsible for your own transportation to the start of the course.
